chocolate spread.
Meurens holds quality certifications from the
International
Food Standard
(IFS) and the British
Retail Consortium
(BRC).
All Meurens products, including Chocofruit,

The history of Siroperie Meurens
dates back to 1902. Clément Meurens,
the first of that ilk, installed the
firm in Aubel, Belgium. He launched
POMONA®, an apple and sugar beet
syrup, and POIRET®, a delicious
apple and pear syrup, with no added
sugar.
In 1937 Clément
II devised the famous recipe for the
"Sirop de Liège". In
1947 he registered the trade name and
introduced the wonderful blossoming
pear trees that we can still see today
on the packaging of "VRAI SIROP
DE LIÈGE "®.
Today the 3rd and
4th generations run the factory with
the same passion as their ancestors.
