Natural Sweeteners
More natural products, such as natural sweeteners, are better for the environment than highly-processed foods.
Respecting and protecting the environment has become a very high priority for a growing number of people. One area of environmental concern has been aptly summarized in the phrase “reduce, reuse, recycle”. The most environmentally-friendly products are those which have been grown locally. Locally-grown products can be sold and used without the need for industrial food-processing and its associated chemicals. Some types of foods, like natural sweeteners, can be transported in a way which is respectful to the environment as they only require very minimal processing before being packaged.
